Monterey County is re-designing its website and would like public input on developing a website that will best serve the needs of residents, business and visitors.


  • Have you had your water service disconnected, or having trouble paying your water bill? The Drought Water Assistance Program may be able to help. Find out more about this program here.
  • Halloween is fun for people but can be dangerous and stressful for pets. The Monterey County Animal Services Center has helpful Halloween safety tips for you and your pet.
  • Got your flu shot? The Monterey County Health Department is offering no cost flu shots at sites throughout the county through November 20th. Click here for a list of dates and locations for the clinic nearest you.
  • As part of its special War Comes Home Project, the Monterey County Free Libraries are hosting the Combat Paper Project exhibit at branches in Carmel Valley and Soledad. This exhibit features the work of military veterans who have turned their former uniforms into works of art. For more information about the exhibit , visit the Library webpage.
