No Notice: No evaluation by the
Damage Assessment Team
Green Notice: No apparent damage by
Yellow Notice: Apparent fire damage,
possible hazard, limited occupancy allowed.
Red Notice: Unsafe to occupy
Yellow and red notices should contain
reasoning for the posting, except for total loss.
Damage Assessment General Information
For questions regarding repair and recovery of water, waste water systems as well as hazardous materials and debris removal, please call (831) 755-4505. For the weekend and holidays, staff can be paged at (831) 754-7391 (after the beeps enter the call back number followed by the # sign).
Staff will be available to provide guidance and can also arrange free on-site consultations for specific environmental health issues upon request. Construction and repair of wells and septic systems under the authority of the County may not require permit fees if waived by the board of supervisors under emergency criteria.
