Legislative Reference: Created by Board Order dated February 3, 1964. Bylaws were established by Resolution No. 94-385; amended by Resolution 04-078; and amended November 2, 2004, Resolution 04-354.

Membership & Terms: The committee shall consist of 10 members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Six members shall have terms of three years and 3 members shall have terms of two years and each member will serve until his/her respective successor is appointed and qualified.

(Members are the same as those on the Castroville Public Works Advisory Committee.)

Duties: The Committee shall give advice to the Board of Supervisors in all matters of public works as follows: 1) all matters relating to County Service Area 14 funding; 2) Public Utilities (sewer, water, street lighting, drainage, garbage collection); 3) Transportation; 4) County roads and State Highways; 5) Parks and Recreation.

Meeting Date, Time and Place: The committee shall meet at least 4 times each calendar year (quarterly) at specific dates, times and places to be established by a majority of committee members attending a meeting. All meetings shall be open to the public.
