Membership:
Consists of a total of 11 voting members as follows: Within each Supervisors' district, one representative appointed by the district supervisor to represent that
district. Appointee must be a
veteran, widow of a veteran, spouse of a veteran or the surviving child of a
veteran killed or missing in action. The United Veterans Council of Monterey County will select
six of their members to be appointed by the Board of Supervisors to serve on
the Commission for staggered terms from 2 to 3 years. Qualifications & Functions: All members of the Commission shall reside
within Monterey County. No employee
