NORTH COUNTY WATER ISSUES AD-HOC ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Legislative Reference: On September 23, 1997, the Board of Supervisors approved the formation of this committee to facilitate public out-reach on North County water issues, provide input into development of ordinances to address interim measures, assist in exploring measures which were identified for further investigation, as well as participate in the scope and completion of ground water management plan. Committee members represent the 5 sub-basins located within the area included in the North County water action plan.

Membership: Eight voting members comprised of:

Two from each of the 5 North County hydrologic sub-areas;
Three at-large;
Representative of the four district water user groups in the area, agricultural, rural residential, urban and industrial.

Terms: 2 years. This Ad-Hoc committee will disband when the ground water management plan is completed and implemented.

Meeting Date, Time and Place: Meetings held third Wednesday of each month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 7881 Sanholdt Road, Moss Landing Harbor District Office.
