The instructions below show how to create an account, schedule an inspection, reschedule an inspection and cancel an inspection.

To create an account:

  • Click on "Register for an Account" in the upper right corner of the screen
  • Click the check box to acknowledge that you have read and accept the terms of use
  • Click on "Continue Registration"
  • Complete all of the fields and click on "Continue Registration"
  • You will receive a message that says "Your account has been created successfully."
  • Log in using the user name and password you created when registering for your account. 

To schedule inspections:

  • Click on the "Building" tab at the main menu
  • Click on "Search Applications" under Building
  • There are multiple search options - parcel number or permit number give you the best option for finding your permit
  • Double-click on your permit from the search results
  • Under "Inspections", click on "Schedule or Request an Inspection"
  • Select the inspection type you are requesting
  • Click on "Continue"
  • Select an inspection date by clicking a link on the calendar displayed
  • Select Morning or Afternoon
  • Click on "Continue"
  • Verify that contact person is correct:
    • Contact Name & Number - the name of the person that will be onsite or serve as the point of contact for our inspector & phone number that the person may be reached at.
    • If you need to change this information click on "Change Contact" make the necessary changes and click "Submit"
  • Click on "Continue"
  • Verify that information is correct:
    • Inspection Type - the inspection you are requesting
    • Date and Time -  date that you would like the inspection performed, preference of Morning or afternoon
    • Location -address where the inspection is to be performed
    • Contact Name & Number - the name of the person that will be onsite or serve as the point of contact for our inspector & phone number that the contact person may be reached at 
  • Click on "Add Cross St and Additional Notes for Inspector"
  • Please enter a cross street of the inspection site and any other notes or comments for the inspector.
  • Click on "Finish"

To reschedule an inspection:

  • Log in using the user name and password you created when registering for your account
  • Click on the "Building" tab at the main menu
  • Click on "Search Applications" under Building
  • There are multiple search options - parcel number or permit number give you the best option for finding your permit.
  • Double-click on your permit from the search results
  • Under "Inspections", click on "Actions"
  • Select "Reschedule"
  • Select the date you want the inspection rescheduled to by clicking a link on the calendar displayed
  • Select Morning or Afternoon
  • Click on "Continue"
  • Verify that contact person is correct:
    • Contact Name & Number - the name of the person that will be onsite or serve as the point of contact for our inspector & phone number that the contact person may be reached at.
    • If you need to change this information click on "Change Contact" make the necessary changes and click "Submit"
  • Click on "Continue"
  • Verify that information is correct:
    • Inspection Type - the inspection you are requesting
    • Date and Time -  date that you would like the inspection performed, preference of Morning or afternoon
    • Location -address where the inspection is to be performed
    • Contact Name & Number - the name of the person that will be onsite or serve as the point of contact for our inspector & phone number that the contact person may be reached at.
  • Click on "Finish"

To cancel an inspection:

  • Log in using the user name and password you created when registering for your account
  • Click on the "Building" tab at the main menu
  • Click on "Search Applications" under Building
  • There are multiple search options - parcel number or permit number give you the best option for finding your permit
  • Double-click on your permit from the search results
  • Under "Inspections", click on "Actions"
  • Select "Cancel"
  • Click on "Cancel Inspection"
