Dear Reader:

The Monterey County Fact Finder is your guide for County information and services. Here you will find budget information, interesting County data, a roster of County officials and our “Yellow Pages” of departments and services.

I would personally encourage you to become involved in your County government. The Board of Supervisors meets each Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers, located on the first floor of the County Government Center, 168 W. Alisal Street, Salinas. Other Advisory Boards, Commissions and Committees do important work. If you would like to serve on one of the County’s Boards, please contact the County Supervisor of your district, or call the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at (831) 755-5066 or (831) 647-7600. The County is also in need of volunteers. For more information, please contact the Director of Volunteer Services for Natividad Medical Center at (831) 755-4215.
