Monterey County Names Information Technology Director

Ms. Dianah Neff joins Monterey County as Director of Information Technology. Her first day on the job is January 17th.

Ms. Neff brings more than 25 years of experience providing information technology leadership to communities and organizations. She has provided expertise to both city and county governments and most recently served as the Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the City of Pasadena before being selected for the director position in Monterey County.

Previously, Neff held numerous executive IT positions including: CIO for the City and County of Philadelphia; CIO/Deputy City Manager for the City of San Diego; CIO for Bellevue, Washington; and the Director of Information Systems for the County of San Bernardino.

Ms. Neff has a Bachelors Degree from San Jose State in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing and Economics. She is the recipient of multiple recognitions and awards related to Information Technology excellence and leadership.
