The Monterey County Free Libraries is a network of information centers serving the diverse communities of Monterey County by offering opportunities for all to succeed in school, work and their personal lives.

Monterey County Free Libraries (Bibliotecas Grátis del Condado de Monterey) provide library services to residents of Monterey County. This site contains a Kids Page, Teen Page, Homework Help, Bookmobile information, Catalog Search, Reference Material, links to Library Databases, Library Information, Branch Information, and Internet Search help. Monterey County Free Libraries is the Monterey County Library, or County Public Library servicing the entire Monterey County, with the following branches: Aromas Library, Big Sur Library, Bradley Library, Buena Vista Library, Carmel Valley Library, Castroville Library, Gonzales Library, Greenfield Library, King City Library, Marina Library, Pajaro Library, Parkfield Library, Prunedale Library, San Ardo Library, San Lucas Library, Seaside Library, Soledad Library.

Our collection includes a variety of formats including books, books on tape, books on CDs, videos, newspapers, magazines, the Internet and large print books. We have books, magazines and videos in Spanish, Vietnamese.

The site is bi-lengual, providing English and Spanish translations. Use of the library (biblioteca) is free (grátis) to residents of Monterey County.
