Reading Safari is a mobile outreach program designed to provide library, literacy, book and information services to children 0-5 and their parents and caregivers.

Monterey County Free Library branches offer weekly Storytimes for toddlers and preschoolers.

Keep on the lookout for special holiday programs, puppet shows and the Summer Reading Program. Call your library branch for details.

Class Visits, including a library orientation and library card sign-ups are hosted by staff once a year per class. Call your library branch to schedule a visit. Teachers are always welcome to contact the library for assistance when planning assignments.
