Zinio & IndieFlix
Free eMagazines to Read on Your Computer or Mobile Device
Free Movie Streaming from Independent Filmmakers

ZINIO gives you access to many eMagaines through the MCFL eMagazine collection. eMagazines are available in both English and Spanish and can be viewed on your computer or mobile device.

IndieFlix allows you to stream thousands of movies from independent filmmakers from more than 50 countries and more than 2,000 film festivals worldwide. No checkouts, returns, or waiting. Multiple users can watch the same film on different devices at the same time.
IndieFlix is available on all Internet-enabled computers, tablets including iPad and Android, and smartphones through the web browser. Many films are also available on Roku and Xbox. These films are not rated by the MPAA, so viewer discretion is advised. Once you're logged in to IndieFlix, you can search for films, or browse by genre, film festival and country.

To access either ZINIO or IndieFlix you must:

1. Create an Account on the RBdigital Gateway. Make sure you have your MCFL library card number handy.

2. On the IndieFlix or ZINIO page, you need to create another login. Use the same email address that you did to register on the on the RBdigital Gateway.

How Do I Get Started with ZINIO?

Have your MCFL card ready and click here to create an account or watch Zinio's how to video or follow the detailed directions below.

To use ZINIO you will be asked to create two accounts: one to browse all MCFL eMagazines collection and another to manage your customized collection of ZINIO eMagazines. Use the link from the confirmation email to validate your account.

Create Two Accounts. We recommend you use the same email and password for both accounts. The same login works for both, ZINIO and IndieFlix.

1. Create an account to see the MCFL eMagazine selection

  • Go to

  • Click on “Create Account”

  • If prompted, enter your library card number and PIN and click SUBMIT.

  • Enter the required information and click the CREATE ACCOUNT! button. (You will receive a welcome email confirming your new account.)

  • Click the login link in the confirmation email or return to the library’s Zinio Web page and log in to begin browsing the collection.

2. Create a free account to start reading

  • While browsing the library’s collection, click a cover to subscribe to a magazine.

  • First-time users must enter an email address and password to create a free account (for future visits use the SIGN IN HERE button).

  • In your account, your library magazine subscriptions will now display in the READ tab.

(optional) Install the Zinio Reader App on your mobile device.

Visit your device’s app store to download and install the free Zinio Reader app.
Note: Use the Zinio app only to read your
magazines. Browse and subscribe using a Web browser

Read Your Magazines Using the web browser on your computer or smart device

After subscribing to a magazine, click the cover image to open it for reading. Reading some magazines requires the Zinio Reader app. If your device is not app-compatible, those titles will not be available on your device.

Mobile devices with small screens may cause slow loading or prevent loading of content altogether. The mobile device availability status for all titles can be checked by clicking on the READ icon under YOUR READING LIST.

Using the Zinio Reader app on your computer or smart device

After subscribing to a magazine using a Web browser, open the Zinio Reader app, sign in to your account (only necessary the first time), find your magazine in the “Read” menu and start reading.

Checking Out Additional Library Collection Magazines

Return to your library Zinio Collection account using your Web browser to check out additional magazines.
Note: You cannot
check out magazines from within the Zinio Reader App.
