NEWS SECTION | | Winter Recess for the Office of Child Support in December 2011 | The office of the Monterey Department of Child Support Services will be closed for winter recess on Monday, December 26, 2011 through Friday, December 30, 2011. If you wish to access case information during that time, please visit our self-service website at http://www.childsup.ca.gov and enter your PIN number. If you do not have a PIN number, please contact us at 1-866-901-3212 now to have one set up. Payments may be made to the State Disbursement Unit by mail, at www.casdu.com, or by calling 1-866-325-1010. If you must come into the office to make a payment, please do so before December 23, 2011.

If you receive an automated telephone call claiming to be the California Department of Child Support Services (DCSS), do not provide your Social Security number or any other personal information. To verify that any child support calls you receive are authentic please call your Local Child Support Agency at 1-866-901-3212. |
| URGENT NOTICE (2011-10-04): SDU Phishing Warning | It has been reported to us that a number of CPs have received phone calls from someone identifying themselves as being with the State Disbursement Unit (SDU) and asking about their EPC cards. The caller references the SDU transition from Bank of America. The recipients of these calls are being asked to provide personal information.
This is a Phishing scam. Please be advised to NEVER provide your personal information in response to anyone calling them and requesting such information.

| SDU NOTICE (2011-12-08): State Disbursement Unit TRANSITION | Beginning in February 2012, changes are coming to the California State Disbursement Unit (SDU). The changes effect people that receive child support payments by EPC card and people or employers that make child support payments through the CASDU.com website or by telephone.
