The Monterey County Office of Emergency Services publishes Emergency Services
Bulletins (EMERBULL’s) as conditions warrant. EMERBULL’s are used to alert the
general public and public safety agencies of impending or continuing emergency
conditions, including, but not limited to, advisories, watches, and warnings
issued by the National Weather Services. They are seldom the only source of the
information they contain, but are intended to broaden the outreach to the
intended audience. In addition to being posted on this site, they also
electronically mailed to selected emergency response agencies, faxed to various
media outlets for further transmission, and either faxed or transmitted via
radio to public safety agencies. Current EMERBULL’s are posted immediately
subsequent to this sample.
