2007 GENERAL PLAN DRAFT EIR (September 2008)

Below are electronic links to the individual sections of the Draft EIR for the 2007 General Plan Update. Documents that have been updated are highlighted in red.

Note:   The links below include revisions to 5 exhibits: three maps and two corresponding aerial photos which were amended to reflect those changes.   These reflect identical changes to figures in the Draft General Plan as follows: 

 1.  Central Salinas Valley land use map was amended to reflect correct reference to Land Use Plan policy for the Chualar Community Area.   Figure #LU4 ( Draft General Plan) and Exhibit 3.6 (DEIR)

2. An aerial photo that graphically portrays the  Chualar Community Area  Figure #CA3 ( Draft General Plan) and Exhibit 3.16  (DEIR)

3.   North County land use map was amended to reflect correct boundary for the Pajaro Community Area (same as Redevelopment Project Area).  An aerial photo that graphically portrays the Community Area was amended for consistency.  Figure #LU8 ( Draft General Plan) and Exhibit 3.4 (DEIR)

4.  An aerial photo that graphically portrays the Pajaro Community Area.  Figure #CA5 ( Draft General Plan) and Exhibit 3.18

5.  Carmel Valley land use map was amended to correct changes made to the mouth of the valley (Rural Center vs STA boundary) and to remove reference to STA for Delfino (airport) property. Figure # LU3 (Draft General Plan) and Exhibit 3.8 (DEIR)

Hard copies and CDs are available for sale at the Salinas Permit Center. Hard copies and CDs are also available for viewing at Monterey County and City Libraries.

The documents, plans and reports cited in Section 11 of the DEIR updated as of December 5, 2008 (references) can be accessed in one or more of the following ways:

a)  In hard copy at the Front Counter of the Monterey County Planning Department, Salinas Permit Center, 168 W. Alisal St., 2nd Floor Salinas, CA  93901, (831) 755-5025.

b)  On CDROM at the Front Counter.

c)  At the California State University - Monterey Bay Library (One document only).

d)  On the Internet at the specified internet address noted for the citation below.

Specific locations for each document are noted in the citations in the text of Section 11.

The Salinas Permit Center is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
