As the Acting Director of Monterey County’s Department of Public Works, Paul Greenway is responsible for public roads and bridges, storm drains, sanitation districts, treatment and disposal facilities, County Service Areas, buildings and facilities, and the fleet and surveyor programs. 

Paul has served the County for 16 years, the past five years as the Assistant Director of Public Works.  During his tenure with the County, Paul has been responsible for infrastructure improvements, complex development negotiations, and emergency contract restoration activities.   Prior to joining Monterey County, Paul worked for Stanislaus County where he was responsible for road and bridge construction projects. 

Paul has a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Michigan and is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California.
