I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Chair at 1:00 P.M.

II. Approval of February 13, 2014 Minutes:
The minutes of February 13, 2014 were unanimously approved (Nye/Ortiz).
The minutes of the February
21, 2014 voting member retreat were unanimously approved (Nye/Stewart).
III. CAC Chairman Activity Report:
Jack Stewart reported on the FORA meeting held on the morning of March 13, 2014.

V. Update on Federal Legislation:
Sonia Arndt reported that the processes required to commence construction were basically on track but are subject to delays that could occur during the various approval processes.
VI. Update on State Senate Legislation:
Nicole Charles requested that any concerns related to the State’s activities on the Cemetery be brought to her attention for handling.
VII. Update on State Assembly Legislation:
Erica Parker reported nothing in addition to the updates on Federal and State Senate legislation.

IX. Update from FORA:
Jonathan Garcia provided update on the FORA Steering Committee meeting held the morning of March 13, 2014.
X. Report from Central Coast Veterans Cemetery Foundation:
Janet Parks stated that the Foundation Board is undergoing changes and that was nothing new to report since the last meeting except that a Power Point presentation was available to those who will speak before potential donors or donor groups.
XI. Update from Fundraising Liaison Subcommittee:
Edith Johnsen informed the Committee that both The Herald and The Californian ran articles on March 13, 2014, concerning the ongoing fundraising for the Cemetery. Sid Williams reported that the Heroes Open Golf Tournament committee will meet on March 20, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the FORA conference room.
