Export Requirements and Information

Prior to being exported, certain commodities may require phytosanitary certification for freedom of insects and diseases, depending on the commodity and destination.  Agricultural Commissioner staff provide quarantine inspection and certification services, and are qualified to issue federal Phytosanitary Certificates. Phytosanitary certification clients are required to obtain an account with the USDA Phytosanitary Certificate Issuance & Tracking System (PCIT).

For more information, call the Quarantine Duty Officer at (831) 759-7300.
