The Training Department has the capacity to provide Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) to Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists for courses that meet content requirements outlined below (full CEU policy can be found here). CEU’s will be provided whenever possible to support staff members in meeting their licensure requirements and professional development goals. Currently, due to lack of staffing and lead time, no CEU’s units are being granted to Psychologists. The Training Department is aware that there is inequity for Psychologists and is working to develop the staffing to support such requests.

General Course Requirements for CEU’s

  • Instructors must have the educational and/or clinical experience to train on the subject matter.
  • The course must promote professional development at the appropriate education level based on research, theoretical and/or standard of care practices.
  • Course content cannot duplicate trainings offered previously.
  • The number of units provided must be substantiated by course content and participant attendance.
