It is important for seniors and all of us to understand aging issues. The AAA provides information on emerging policy trends and important legislative efforts. In addition, the AAA surveys local seniors, conducts public hearings, provides testimony through a variety of venues, and collaborates with other organizations to develop and expand services to meet local needs.

  • Answers on aging

Aging is a natural process we all experience throughout our lives. As a result, it is important that services and supports change to meet the needs of our Monterey County residents as they age. The AAA is here to lead in community planning efforts, inspire the development of partnerships, promote professional development, and to identify service priorities.
